“Maison du Village” and the “Sabotier”
 

     An eco-museum con- sisting of two parts :

One part is dedicated to the history of the village and local life since the beginning of last century with photographs and archive documents.

The second part of the museum is the actual workshop of Father Chaise, the last clog-maker in the parish, who left behind all the tools and accoutrements of his trad

Octobre 2004 : Une journée détente et découverte pour les pensionnaires d'une maison de retraite.

His house, with its period fittings and tools, was purchased and restored by the parish in 1997.

 

Open: throughout the year by appointment.

Entrance free. Groups should book in advance.
Programme: guided tour of the village including the church and chapel plus the Maison du Village and the Sabotier.
